It is the most-awaited SUV in the Indian market – the Skoda Vision IN will now be launched in India as it was announced on Thursday. This name was derived from Sanskrit which means King or Emperor, and Skoda is looking to lock horns with mid-size SUV segment that already has strong players including Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos MG Hector and Tata Harrier.
Skoda is hinging its bets on Kushaq and they are hoping that the SUV is a culmination of its 125 years of automotive heritage.
This SUV is based on the MQB A0-IN platform under Skoda's 2.0 project, and now, Kushaq will come with a butterfly-shaped front grille, LED head lights, skid plate, diamond-cut alloys and roof rails. We can expect the cabin to be packed with features if Kushaq as it is set to lock horns with all the rivals here. There is always a floating touch-based infotainment screen as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel as well as an all-digital driver display are a given.
