gatti Bolide is a product of Bugati made even more powerful. From the initial glimpses and reports, this car could well become an extreme hyper sports car with claims to be quickest, the meanest and arguably, the most ferocious track-only beast ever.
After dropping teasers, Bugatti has now released fresh images of the stunner and yes, it looks ravishing and stunning.
If Bugati’s own admission is to be believed, this is their best product. It is a driveable concept vehicle that will thunder around drawing 1,825 horsepower from its turbocharged 8.0-litre W16 engine and 1,850 Nm of torque. It weighs 1,240 kilos.
Bugatti has also said that during the simulation trials, the Bolide topped speeds of over 500 kmph and it offers maximum handling and agility. However, there are reports that suggest that the model takes 3:07.1 minutes to complete a lap at Le Mans.
"With the Bolide we have dared to pursue an experiment of extremes," says Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti. "In our history that dates more than 110-years, there has never been a comparable model based on such a minimalist concept conceived solely around the engine,” he went on to add.
However, despite all this excitement, we need to hold our horses. There has been no official word on when it will come out from simulation tracks and zip across in the real world. It is also not clear as if there will only be a limited number of models which will be launched. We just have to wait as things stand right now!
