Jeep is all set to roll out the facelift version of the Compass SUV at an auto show in China which will start on November 22. Now, ahead of the unveiling, Jeep has dropped images of the 2022 Jeep Compass SUV and it comes with style and technical upgrades.
There are key style upgrades that are visible from the teaser images and these will be part of the front face of the new Jeep Compass. At the same time, the traditional seven-slat grille is also more futuristic in design, and it is flanked by thin strips of LED headlights.
There is a thin air intake panel that falls under the griller and it houses the fog lamps, which also appear to be LED. As a total package, the front face looks to be far bolder than the ones which have come in the preceding models.
As far as the interior images are concerned, the carmaker has already confirmed a new floating infotainment system, and this sits at an angle and comes with a metallic frame. Apart from this, there is a tablet-style infotainment screen and it hosts two air vents and brown leather trim.
This new Compass 2022 may also come with a fully digital instrument panel and also a new steering wheel.
There are some reports which suggest that the 2022 Jeep Compass SUV could be powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The engine will be able to pump in 182 PS of maximum power and 237 Nm of maximum torque.
Also, there could be a plug-in hybrid variant of Jeep Compass later and this will come with an 11.4 kWh battery pack.
