Skoda’s updated 2021 Kodiaq has been spotted in Czech Republic. As far as the spy images are concerned, a number of tweaks have been made towards the front/rear-end of the vehicle.
For 2021, the Kodiaq SUV could well come with an updated butterfly grille along with vertical slots. The front grille will come flanked by redesigned front headlamps. Apart from this, the fog lamps will also go through remodelling. And then, there will be a wider airdam that has a honey-comb pattern grille on the front bumper.
Now as we approach the tail end of the Kodiaq, we will see reprofiled LED taillamps that have a much sharper look then all the previous units. Also, there is a rear bumper has been remastered and now, there will be a centrally positioned Skoda logo which was originally seen on the Kodiaq Scout.
As far as the features under the hood are concerned, the company could offer a 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol motor on the India-spec model. This same engine is found on the Superb sedan as well as the Volkswagen Tiguan AllSpace in the Indian market. It has the capacity to deliver close to 187 bhp/320 Nm, and also comes with a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
It needs to be mentioned here that Skoda India has not announced any plans to roll out this car in India just yet. However, the firm had announced that they will be launching the same model sometime early next year in the Indian market.
